I wholeheartedly believe in the power of human emotion. When someone feels seen, heard, and understood, they are more open to new ideas and new ways to solve problems. And, trust begins to build. Emotions create true connection and inspire someone to take action.
I spent my career in various sales and marketing roles in the technology industry, where I was once told by a marketing leader, “there’s not supposed to be any emotion in B2B marketing.” So many years later, I am genuinely grateful for that comment. It pushed me to test it.
During my 20+ year career, I proved that emotion is key to any type of marketing. Add in clarity and simplicity and you have a winning combination that builds a loyal following.
Over the years, I created a simple framework for foundational marketing messaging that works. And now that I have retired from the corporate world, I finally have the opportunity to share it and help others!
